Future plans


In order to ensure food security, market connectivity will be strengthened, product diversification, safe and quality production system will be introduced. Disease control, surveillance, quality of medical services and disease research laboratories will be modernized. Expansion of artificial insemination technology will continue to increase milk and meat production. Expansion of improved varieties of grass cultivation, expansion of food processing technology, introduction of TMR technology, expansion of grass market and ensuring quality of animal feed  & sample testing activities will be intensified for ensuring quality animal feed. Strengthening training and yard meeting activities to increase the capacity of farms & the coverage of mobile courts will be increased in accordance with the laws, rules and policies related to livestock.
